Interdisciplinary Degree Show
External 18th June Holy Trinity Church, Boar Lane, Leeds

External Show Context
To act as a promotion event for the LCAD Degree Show
To raise awareness of Interdisciplinary Art and Design Practice outside of college context
Provide opportunities for students whose work requires audience participation, involvement and play
A professional group project with relevant roles, a good practice for ‘life after Interdisciplinary’ such as managerial, organizing, designer, promoter, venue organizer roles.
Target a different audience

Design Team
Catalogue
Design Team met up with Graphic Designer Steve Wikeley who has volunteered to assist with the design and typography of the catalogue. Team concluded that the catalogue has to reflect the innovative and creative nature of the course, so we wanted to think outside the traditional book/catalogue format.
Current idea is to run with the concept ‘Fence’ and make a consitina fold out, which will appear like a fence. Each ‘fence post’ is one person’s section, which will contain images and text. Black and white.
Logo
Idea: Cut out words ‘On the Fence’ with light shining through to create letter shadows.
Still to be designed.
Posters, leaflets and catalogue must have the same aesthetic
New Role-Evaluation Team
Rose, Helen and Kate H
This team will oversee the entire group and feeds back to the appropriate teams when they identify anything going wrong or missing. The evaluation team has no vested interest in each of the groups- only an eye on the whole picture. This should relieve stress and pressures. Further details on the way…
